Made by the same company who brought you the now iconic Brutus Trimfit shirt, these late 1970s BRUTUS striped jeans are classed as a bit of a rarity - not least for its pin-striped stonewash denim fabric. More significantly, this it the first time these have ever been on sale since the 1970s and early 1980's, they may very well become a collector's item once word gets around.

As with all our clothing, it's still in immaculate condition having been perfectly preserved in its original packaging since the late 1970s, and, with there being so few left in existance, it's not only just a very nice pair of jeans, it's also a rare collector's item. The perfect vintage accompaniment to your Brutus Trim-fit shirt.

Please note that these denims are in a 1970s stone wash colour, which although still quite dark, it's also available in a dark wash (product code/SKU: VE2-D) here. The difference in colour is slight and really only noticeable when both colours are compared together.

They're available in waist sizes 30" to 34" (and, as they're unisex jeans, ladies' sizes 12 to 16) and all with a 34" inside leg.

Please also note that there are very few of these jeans in this particular colour, particularly in the larger sizes, hence they are more exclusive and therefore they attract a premium in the price. There are a few more pieces in the dark wash colour (see here), which are priced accordingly.

SIZING NOTE:
These jeans are made to a regular fit in a straight leg.
Strangely, the label states that these jeans are designed to fit waist sizes of 1" less than the quoted size. In any case, we ask that you read the size charts in the "Sizing & Measurements" tab above.

Please note that this garment requires to be washed before first wear or colour may bleed.

PRICING NOTE:
We do not have many of this item in stock. And because of the way we grade our stock, (the less we have of an item, the more rare they are which affects the price) each colour/size combination has its own price to reflect it's rarity and exclusivity. The price generally won't vary by much, but occasionally we only have one or two pieces of a particular colour/size, so they become a lot more valuable. And once these vintage pieces are gone, they're gone forever.

PACKAGING NOTE: Although 99% of our garments come with any original packaging and tags etc that they may have had when they were manufactured, there is a small chance that some individual items may be missing these packaging elements. Although this won't affect the wearability of the garment, we feel we should still state the possibility of this however remote it may be. In saying that, this is unlikely to happen in the first case, as so far we've only seen items with their original packaging and tags!

WASHING NOTE:
Please remember that although all Retro-Guy clothing is brand new, the garments have all been held in storage for quite some time - up to 40 years in some cases. Therefore we recommend that you consider washing them before wearing them. Please check the garment thoroughly and satisy yourself whether or not you wish to do this. Just to be on the safe side.
