The Simon shirt was a major fashion style icon from the 1970's. They are characterised by the large button placket, the buttoned breast pockets, and the sharp collars. If you've never heard of them before, ask your parents. Or your grandparents. They were very popular. And now they are very rare. If you can find one in good condition anywhere and it'll fetch a very tidy sum.

Our top is of the very same authentic Simon shirt style from the 1970's and is made using a durable but supremely soft cotton jersey. It mixes well with contemporary items, yet is still distinctly vintage - the true test of any timeless design classic.

We have only found one small box of these so there is very limited stock. To find brand new items such as these unworn and brand new is like gold dust, as serious collectors will know. They're not the Simon brand, but are designed the same as the original Simon shirts.

Although we have only a few pieces, they are spread pretty evenly across sizes Small, Medium and Large. But please remember these were designed to be tight tops back in the 70s - a time when even the average top was quite slim. So it is recommended for slim figures only. They are also quite short and so are most suited to small to average figures only. The other point to note is that there doesn't seem to be much difference in the sizes, so please bear this in mind when checking the size charts below.

SIZING NOTE:
This item is tightly fitted, as was the fashion in the 70s, and although they are designed to stretch quite considerably, you may find that the sizing lends itself more to petite or slimmer figures. Please choose a size or two above your normal size if you wish them to be less tightly fitted.

PRICING NOTE:
We do not have many of this item in stock. And because of the way we grade our stock, (the less we have of an item, the more rare they are which affects the price) each colour/size combination has its own price to reflect it's rarity and exclusivity. The price generally won't vary by much, but occasionally we only have one or two pieces of a particular colour/size, so they become a lot more valuable. And once these vintage pieces are gone, they're gone forever.

PACKAGING NOTE: Although 99% of our garments come with any original packaging and tags etc that they may have had when they were manufactured, there is a small chance that some individual items may be missing these packaging elements. Although this won't affect the wearability of the garment, we feel we should still state the possibility of this however remote it may be. In saying that, this is unlikely to happen in the first case, as so far we've only seen items with their original packaging and tags!

WASHING NOTE:
Please remember that although all Retro-Guy clothing is brand new, the garments have all been held in storage for quite some time - up to 40 years in some cases. Therefore we recommend that you consider washing them before wearing them. Please check the garment thoroughly and satisy yourself whether or not you wish to do this. Just to be on the safe side.
