As worn by Gyles Brandreth on TV! Yes! THE Gyles Brandreth! :) The extreme-jumper-wearing ex-Member of Parliament and veteran TV-presenting supremo, wore this very same pullover during a stint on the BBC's "The One Show" on 24th March 2010! How cool is that?! Questionably cool! The best type of cool!

Its newfound fame aside, this slim fitting vintage jumper has a few other things going for it. Its vintage look and feel is brought about by it's off-white creamy colour balanced out with by a cool blue and yellow band across the torso, upper arms with further detailing around the neckline and border.

It's also made from 100% Shetland wool and was created by the famous Scottish knitwear brand - TOPS of Scotland - in the 1970s.

As usual it's 100% brand new with original packaging and original tags, and available in two colours. There is limited stock, with only a single piece available in some sizes! So it's exclusive as well as extremely collectable.

And please remember, the more we have of a particular colour and size, the cheaper we can afford to sell it. On the converse, if we have less of a certain colour/size, we have to charge slightly more, but we are trying our best not to. So please check to see how much your preferred colour and size costs. It may be cheaper than the marked price, or it may be more.

RECOMMENDATION:
Shetland wool can be a little scratchy if worn directly against your skin as shown here, so it's recommended that you wear something like a t-shirt underneath it.

SIZING NOTE:
These jumpers are slim fit, as was the fashion in the 70s, so you might find that they are tighter than usual compared to other jumpers in your size. Most people prefer the slim fit look, but if you would prefer a more 'comfort fit' then please choose one size larger than your usual size. In any case, please refer to the 'Sizing charts' tab above.

PRICING NOTE:
We do not have many of this item in stock. And because of the way we grade our stock, (the less we have of an item, the more rare they are which affects the price) each colour/size combination has its own price to reflect it's rarity and exclusivity. The price generally won't vary by much, but occasionally we only have one or two pieces of a particular colour/size, so they become a lot more valuable. And once these vintage pieces are gone, they're gone forever.

PACKAGING NOTE: Although 99% of our garments come with any original packaging and tags etc that they may have had when they were manufactured, there is a small chance that some individual items may be missing these packaging elements. Although this won't affect the wearability of the garment, we feel we should still state the possibility of this however remote it may be. In saying that, this is unlikely to happen in the first case, as so far we've only seen items with their original packaging and tags!

WASHING NOTE:
Please remember that although all Retro-Guy clothing is brand new, the garments have all been held in storage for quite some time - up to 40 years in some cases. Therefore we recommend that you consider washing them before wearing them. Please check the garment thoroughly and satisy yourself whether or not you wish to do this. Just to be on the safe side.
